By Popular Demand: One Step at a Time Audiobook Coming Soon!

When I first started writing about our hike of the Appalachian Trail, I didn’t think much about audio. I was just trying to get it down. I wrote it because I didn’t want to forget.

But something unexpected happened after I hit “publish.” People kept asking: “Are you going to make an audiobook? You have a great voice for it!”

At first I wasn’t sure. Recording my voice seemed like a different level of vulnerability. But the more I thought about it, the more it felt right.

So yes — I’m recording the audiobook.

I’m narrating it myself. No studio actors. Just me. The same guy who walked from Springer to Katahdin with his wifey.

And I’m excited about it!

There’s something powerful about reading these chapters out loud. I’m reliving moments I thought I’d already processed. Some are funnier than I remembered. Some hit harder.

If you were one of the people who nudged me toward this — thank you. Truly. That encouragement makes all the difference to me.

My best guess at a release date is around May, with availability on many platforms like Spotify, Audible, etc.

I will share updates soon!

If you haven’t yet left a review for the book on Amazon or Goodreads, please consider doing so!

Happy trails,

Kevin
