Kevin Ravas is a lifelong hiker, writer, and musician with a love for long journeys and honest storytelling. One Step at a Time is his first book: an immersive account of walking through wilderness and life, one mile at a time. Originally from Schenectady, NY, he now travels with his wife, Pam, for her work as a physical therapist. Together, they’ve hiked the Adirondack 46, the Long Trail, and—most recently—the entire Appalachian Trail.
